Step Back in Time

Perched on the banks of Jakey’s Fork just before it joins the Wind River, let this rustic cabin be your retreat while you explore the upper Wind River Valley. With the Tetons and Yellowstone an hour away, weekly square dancing and rodeos in town during the summer, access to excellent fishing streams, and a trailhead into the Wind River Mountain Range just up the road, a stay at Jakey’s Fork is Wyoming living at its best! Surrounded by national forest and wilderness areas, the valley is known for its majestic beauty and sunny climate.

For the last 15 years Carolyn Gillette has welcomed guests from all over the world to our little slice of heaven. Expect a warm welcome, information and insights about the area, a tasty meal, and hospitality that will make your stay memorable!

Of all the places we stayed, this was by far the most unique and endearing of them all. This is a place not to be be missed!
